"...recovering from identity theft
can be difficult, costly, and stressful, but what is most
alarming is that despite the time, money, and personal duress
victims go through, resolution is not always achieved."

for Nationwide

What is Phishing?
Phishing is a high-tech scam
that uses spam to deceive consumers into disclosing their
credit card numbers, bank account information, Social Security
numbers, passwords, and other sensitive personal information.
The most heinous form of phishing, when victim computer's settings
are modified and hijacked is called 'Pharming'.
In case of pharming, identity theft criminals use spyware and
trojan viruses to redirect you to their websites when you try
to access your bank's website.
Identity theft prevention
The
Department of Justice recommends that Internet users
follow three simple rules when they see e-mails or websites that
may be part of a phishing scheme: Stop, Look, and Call. But Identity
Theft criminals are skilled and dedicated - it is hard to know
when to stop, what to look for and who to call.
Identity Defender software tells you when to stop and the Identity
Defense Kit lets you protect all of your computers with
the Identity Defender software, helps you protect
from off-line identity theft and provides assistance if you become
a victim of an identity theft criminal.

| STARTUP MANAGER
INAC StartUp Manager is a useful tool that gives you control
over programs set to start when the operating system starts.
A lot of programs will set itself to start whenever the operating
system starts and not all of them will include an easy and
intuitive way to change that behavior. INAC StartUp Manager
allows a user to temporarily disable a startup program or
permanently delete the entry. The software comes with a large
knowledge base with known startup entries and common executables
that an average computer user might see running without knowing
why and how important those executables are.

I have tried several anti-phishing,
identity theft protection tools and I find the
Identity Defender to be the most proactive and
complete of all.
Most other tools will just monitor my credit for
a monthly fee and do absolutely nothing to prevent
the crime. And what you have developed does exactly
what it should - it prevents the crime from happening
in the first place. My wife and I get at least
five scam emails every week. I installed your
software, clicked on one email and I was warned
by the software immediately! I have already ordered
your Identity Defense Kit to protect all of our
computers.
Keep up with the great work,
Alexander Berg
